Making jewelry and having others wear my work has been a lifelong dream of mine. As a teenager I have always admired creative people and never saw myself as a creative person. I use to watch craft TV shows on jewelry making. At the age of sixteen I bought myself an instruction magazine to learn the basics of jewelry making, but I did not delve into it until twelve years later. I bought the basic tools and a few beads just to see what I was capable of and it became an addiction. I soon had to start selling my jewelry in order to keep buying supplies. I took a few earrings to a community fair where I got some positive remarks and a few sales. I had a boost of confidence that day. My husband, my biggest supporter, later encouraged me to sell online.
